Editing Creating a Stamp

<ol style="font-size: 20px;">
    <li>Place multiple items from the Asset catalogue into your ARC to make the creation you wish to save and/or share as a Stamp.</li>
    <li>Select desired items that you need to have included in the Stamp.
        <ul>
            <li>Click and drag the cursor over all the items you need.</li>
            <li>This can also be done by selecting individual items one-by-one for more precise choices. Use <kbd>CTRL + LMB</kbd> to add an item to mass selection.</li>
        </ul>
    </li>
    <li>Group the selected items together either using <kbd>CTRL+G</kbd> or by clicking the Group button in the Attributes panel on the left.</li>
    <li>Double check all the items for the Stamp are highlighted before grouping them. Groups and Stamps can be edited after they have been created, as it will be explained later in this page.</li>
    <li>You can now decide to give your new Group a Name and a Description
        <ul>
            <li>When you create a Stamp out of this Group, it will have the Name and the Description you set here.</li>
        </ul>
    </li>
    <li>Once items have been grouped and named, press <kbd>CTRL+P</kbd> or the Create Stamp button to create a Stamp.
        <ul>
            <li>You can only create a Stamp from items that have been grouped – simple multiselection and single items can’t be stamps.</li>
            <li>You also can’t create a Stamp from a group that is linked to logic not included in the group.</li>
        </ul>
    </li>
    <li>A Stamp’s name can be modified by clicking its name in the Attributes window on the left side, when the stamp is selected.</li>
</ol>

<p>A thumbnail will be generated automatically when the Stamp is created. However, it may not be the most flattering angle to show your creation – especially if you want to share your Stamp with other players.</p>

<ol style="font-size: 20px;">
    <li>To change the thumbnail of your Stamp, click on the thumbnail image. This will open the Stamp Thumbnail capture mode.</li>
    <li>From here, you’ll have the option to move the camera around, to get the angle you prefer. You also have some options at the top right to change some visuals for your thumbnails.</li>
    <li>When you’re ready to capture your new thumbnail, you can press <kbd>Enter</kbd> on your keyboard, or click Enter in the bottom right corner.</li>

<p>To update the content of your stamp, you can click this button in the Attributes window, to enter Group Editing Mode.</p>

<p>In Group Editing Mode, you can move around existing objects in the Stamp, or add/remove assets.</p>

    <li>To move existing items: select an item and use the gizmo to move it around.</li>
    <li>To add a new item: pick whichever asset you wish to add from the Assets catalogue on the left. It will be added automatically to your Stamp while in Group Editing Mode.</li>
    <li>To add to the Stamp item(s) already placed:
        <ul>
            <li>Click Add at the top</li>
            <li>Select the item you want to add to the Stamp</li>
            <li>Click the confirmation button that now appeared in the Editing Group window.</li>
        </ul>
    </li>
    <li>To remove an item:
        <ul>
            <li>Click Remove</li>
            <li>Select the items you don’t wish to include in your Stamp anymore.</li>
            <li>Click the confirmation button in the Editing Group window.</li>
        </ul>
    </li>
    <li>Once you’re done with your changes, you can leave Group Editing Mode by clicking the exit button.</li>
</ol>

<p>When you modify your Stamp, you can create a new Version of it.</p>

<p>A Version of a Stamp is an alternative version of your stamp that you can load and “have active” if you decide to update it, without having to create a new Stamp and lose its data.</p>

<ol style="font-size: 20px;">
    <li>To create a new Stamp Version after modifying your stamp from the previous section of this page, you can go to the Attributes window and click Save Stamp Version.</li>
    <li>A pop up window will appear, where you can specify a version name (for you to identify multiple versions of the same Stamp) and patch notes, which is a description of the changes you made on your Stamp.</li>
    <li>Once you’re ready with your changes, click Save.</li>
    <li>If you have more than one version of your Stamp and you wish to load a different version, you can do so by clicking the dropdown menu for “Load Version” and click Load.</li>
    <li>You should be able to visually see the different versions loaded.</li>
</ol>

<p>Publishing a Stamp will make it available for others to use in their own ARCs.</p>

<ol style="font-size: 20px;">
    <li>To publish a Stamp, click on the Publish button in the Attributes window of your selected Stamp.</li>
<ul>    
<li><strong>Note:</strong> Tagging Stamps makes them easier to find. Use the drop-down lists to select up to 3 Tags for a Stamp. Match Tags to a Stamp's purpose and style.</li>
</ul>    
<li>Once a Stamp is published, you and other players can find it in the Assets catalogue, under Stamps > Public Stamps.</li>
    <li>You can also Unpublish a Stamp by selecting it and clicking the Unpublish button in the Attributes window on the left.</li>

<p>In Public Stamps, you can find Stamps created by other players. From here, you can place them by clicking or dragging them from the menu into the Scene area.</p>

<p>Double-clicking the tile will open additional options, to Like the Stamp or Favourite it.</p>

<p>A favourited Stamp will appear in the Assets catalogue, under Stamps > Favourited Stamps.</p>

<p>Favouriting is a way of “saving” a Stamp from another player to have it readily available for you to build with.</p>

<p>Stamp Podiums are a visual, in-game way to “advertise” your Stamp creations in your ARCs.</p>

<ol style="font-size: 20px;">
    <li>You can place a previously published Stamp on a podium to display it to other players, and players can interact with the podium to Like, Favourite or eventually even Report your Stamp.</li>
    <li>To use a Stamp Podium, you can search for it in the Assets catalogue and place it in the Scene area.</li>
    <li>Select the podium and in its Attributes window you can select which Stamp the podium will showcase, by clicking the dropdown for Stamp ID.</li>
    <li>You’ll see a miniature of your Stamp appearing on the podium.</li>
    <li>When interacting with the podium, players will see all the Stamp’s information and the Stamp miniature representation.</li>
</ol>

<p>Your own Stamps are located in the Asset Library, under the Stamps tile. Click or drag a Stamp from the Stamps category in the Asset Library to place it in an ARC.</p>

{{CustomHeader|Title=Archiving a Stamp}}

<p>Archiving a Stamp will make the Stamp “not place-able" anymore, by you and other players that may have it saved in their Favourite Stamps.</p>

<ol style="font-size: 20px;">
    <li>To archive a Stamp, double-click it in the Stamps tile in the Assets catalogue. Doing so, will bring up the option to Archive the Stamp.</li>
    <li>After confirming you wish to Archive the Stamp, this will appear in the Archived Stamps tile under Stamps and will no longer appear amongst your other Stamps.</li>
    <li><strong>Note:</strong> You can’t undo Archiving of a Stamp, so make sure you are archiving only Stamps that you don’t need anymore.</li>
