Manipulating an Item
Steps
- Place an Item in your ARC.
- Use Left Mouse Button to select the placed item.
- Press 1/2/3 to cycle between move/rotate/scale modes.
- Left Mouse Click and drag a gizmo handle to change its position/rotation/scale.
Editing Item Attributes
When items are selected, the Attributes Menu appears in place of the Asset Library, which displays the item's properties. For example, there are options to change the collision profile of an object to be set to No Collision, Collision or Physics. If it is affected by physics, you can also change its mass and the damage it will inflict upon collision. Attributes vary per item type.
There are also sections for logic linking directly from the Attributes Menu.
Steps
- Place an Item in your ARC.
- Use Left Mouse Button to select the placed item.
- The Attribute Menu will appear on the left of the screen.
- Use the available Sliders/Checkboxes/Dropdowns/Text Inputs to modify the attributes of that item.
- Different items / logic have different attributes for the user to edit.
