2D Logic Linking

Instructions (Linking Objects)

1. Select exactly two items, or a single item and a group. The item you select first in this sequence will be the item you link from. The second item you select in this sequence will be the item you link to.
2. With both your items now selected, the UI will filter to only show compatible links. From here select the event you wish to ‘link from’.
3. Once an event is selected it will highlight green. Click it again to unselect it, or click on another event if you wish to select that event instead. When you are happy with your selected events, select any number of functions you want to link it with.
4. Functions will highlight green when they are connected to the selected event.
5. If a function is selected whilst already linked to the chosen event, it will unlink the pair.

Additional Information

The system also supports rich tooltips in the same way as the 3D logic objects. When hovering over a nodule, a description for the nodule will be displayed in the rich tooltip UI.

The system works with groups in a similar way, with the notable exception that you cannot link from groups, as they have no events.
